Pyretta, Jason, Malli and Camryn

Lance, Jori and soon to be here-Baby Quinn

Josh, Ladonna, Dawson and Chance

On Easter Sunday this year, Granny Bid, Jori, Lance, Jason, Pyretta, Malli, Camryn, Josh, LaDonna, Dawson, Chance and (2 of their friends) all came to eat lunch. It was a beautiful day. the kids hunted eggs and we had a great time.

Daddy and Malli bagged this 22 lb Turkey
on a big turkey hunt.

Malli loves to ride Camryn in her John Deere jeep all around the farm and Camryn loves to ride. Papa Doug walks with them because sometimes Malli get busy lookin at things and forgets where she is steering.

On a nice Staurday morning in April, Doug and I took two or our grandchildren, Chance and Malli on a hike and picnic at the Cordell Hull State Park. The trail to Bunkim Cave is pretty easy and the Kids had a great time looking at wildflowers with their magnifying glasses. We stopped at one of the many benches on the trail to have a snack of peanut butter/graham crackers, apple juice, and yogurt. How blessed we are to be able to have days like this with our grandchildren!

Catching Up

Gosh! I can hardly believe I have not posted since Camryn's birthday in February! I have missed a lot of things and will try to upload some of the photos of all of the goings on in our family. Josh and Jason have been turkey hunting (Malli, too), we have had Easter Egg hunts, family weddings...just lots of stuff. so if you have time, scroll through and see these photos and enjoy.

O.K....I continue to learn and learn and learn, muddling my way through all of the new ways of communicating on the internet. I have a website, 3 e-mail addresses, a my space page, a facebook page and now am trying to create a blog spot. I think I am going to have to have some help with creating the look I want. My daughter, Jori, got me started on this latest endeavor. She has a way of getting me excited about the things she is excited about. Hopefully, this will be a way my family, friends and business associates will be able to stay connected with me. I probably will create a different page for my real estate business and connect the two. So much to learn! Anyway, I have always loved the poem about families being like patchwork quilts, thus the name of my site. I will share my favorite poem (I have two actually) about how families are like patchwork quilts.
